ConserFest is a strictly grassroots effort relying heavily on volunteers for our events and year-round staff, making us a driving force in raising awareness about local environmental issues. Since 2008, proceeds and donations from festival events help to support and fund local efforts dedicated to protecting Block Island's natural environment and raising awareness for the conservation and preservation of local land, heritage and culture.
