"A music movement for conservation awareness"

The mission of ConserFest is to raise consciousness for environmental conservation through the celebration of music and art.

The proceeds and donations from ConserFest events help support (ie. memberships, NGO profile) and fund non-profit organizations dedicated to protecting the natural environment.

The proceeds and donations from ConserFest events go directly to support non-profit organizations. We are currently supporting Block Island Conservancy.

The concept of ConserFest, a grass-roots project originating on Block Island, RI, came about in the fall of 2007. The efforts of Block Island Conservancy are inspirational to the ConserFest founders, who recognize the importance and urgency of raising awareness for land conservation among the younger generations. In turn, ConserFest aims to further the efforts of BIC and other like-minded organizations by educating the general public on the magnitude of conserving open space in fragile places like Block Island.
Through a large-scale annual music and art festival, ConserFest raises finances and awareness for land conservation and for the preservation of local heritage and culture. In the future, ConserFest intends to achieve non-profit status and continue to raise environmental awareness for other non-profit conservation groups.
